Let’s talk about how things are shaping up.

From a link-building perspective we’ve been busy acquiring links.

In fact we’ve snagged almost 10 links in the last one and a half months and 14 of our articles are currently ranking on page one! It’s really exciting to see our hard work paying off.

And guess what? We’re even starting to see brand impressions and clicks which is amazing considering the website is relatively new.

People are searching for our brand name! That’s a testament to the quality of content we’re creating.

Unexpected Challenges: The Roadblocks We Encountered

But it’s not always smooth sailing right? There are definitely some challenges we’ve had to overcome.

One of the biggest surprises was that Reddit is ranking for almost every keyword especially the commercial ones.

This puts us at a disadvantage because they’re essentially dominating those search results.

Another challenge is that “parasite articles” are ranking for broad and general keywords.

What does that mean? Big websites like Forbes they’re ranking for those general terms like “best headphones under $300.” They usually snag the top three positions which is a bummer for us smaller players.

Overcoming Challenges: Strategies for Success

So how do we combat these obstacles? We’re focusing on commercial topics where Reddit isn’t a major competitor.

We’re keeping a strategic balance of commercial and informational articles aiming for a ratio of 20% commercial to 80% informational.

We’re even testing out using Reddit as a parasite which basically means strategically incorporating our content within relevant Reddit communities.

It’s a bit of a risky move but why not test the waters right? We’re all about experimentation and finding what works.

Expanding Our Content Reach: Diversifying for Growth

We’re not just focusing on articles anymore.

We’re exploring different content formats to expand our reach.

YouTube is a big one.

Our YouTube videos are probably the main reason we’re seeing those brand impressions and clicks.

We’ve collaborated with influencers and they’ve been creating short engaging reviews which we’re publishing on YouTube with all the keywords tags and other optimization strategies.

Another exciting venture is programmatic SEO pages.

These pages are designed to cater to specific search intents.

If a certain product is being used by influencers in a particular niche we’re building programmatic pages focused on that product.

There’s a ton of potential here because there aren’t a lot of high-authority websites ranking for these keywords.

Building Trust and Authority: Showcasing Authenticity

We’re also adding test samples of the products we’re promoting to our blog.

This is a great way to build trust and authenticity with our audience.

People want to see the real deal not just reviews based on speculation.

Big Goals for the Future: Setting Our Sights High

We have some exciting goals for the future.

The first one is maximizing brand impressions.

We’re already seeing great results on both client websites and our own.

It’s clear that strong brand impressions are helping websites withstand those latest Google updates.

Websites with a solid brand presence are less likely to be penalized.

Our next big goal is becoming a direct brand affiliate.

We’re currently relying on Amazon but we want to work directly with brands in the future.

We just need to build some track record.

We need to demonstrate that we can drive sales and have a solid audience.

Growth Goals: Building a Strong Foundation

We’re aiming to publish 120 articles all human-written and then we’ll see how things are shaping up.

We’re also going to acquire 100 links.

This includes guest posts natural links press releases and anything else that can boost our domain authority.

Stay Tuned for More Adventures: Join the Journey

That’s a quick update on our niche site journey! It’s been an incredible ride so far and I can’t wait to see where it takes us next.

Stay tuned for more insights tips and hopefully some amazing results!
